In Valuable Tuning Tip # 10 we teach you how to use the 'Wedge' with a Diamond Disc on our Pro Base Bevel Guide.

Valuable Tuning Tip # 11 - The Easiest Way to Improve Your Turns

In Valuable Tip # 11 we demonstrate what happens when you adjust the angle on a Base Bevel Guide by pivoting off the toe and the heel. This is why it's so important to keep both Delrin glides (D-glides) running on the sidewall/edge of the ski at all times unless you want to increase the base edge bevel on the tips and tails of your ski or board.

Valuable Tuning Tip # 12 - Get the Smoothest edges with Elastik Stones

In Valuable Tuning Tip # 12 we show you an option to get ultra smooth edges that feel amazing on snow - using Tyrolit Elastik Stones. A must for serious tuners who can really feel these nuances on-snow.

Valuable Tuning Tip # 13 - Proper Use of the SIDECUT File Guide Clamp

In Valuable Tuning Tip # 13 we show you the correct way to use our trigger clamp to secure files & diamond stones to your File Guides. This will ensure they won't slip when tuning.

Valuable Tuning Tip # 14 - Organizing your Diamonds, Stones & Files

In Valuable Tuning Tip # 14 we outline the different SIDECUT Diamond Disc, Stone & File organizers so you can save space on your tuning bench. There's no bigger time waster then searching for that missing file or stone amongst the tools on your bench. The organizers also double as a great way to dry your stones, store & travel with them.

Valuable Tuning Tip # 15 - Losing Confidence On Ice? Try this!

In Valuable Tuning Tip # 15 we offer you an "idea" inspired by a World Cup/Europa Cup serviceman & his athlete who demanded “more grip” on the infamous Hahnenkamm WC downhill track.

Creating a "tiny burr" or "hanger" on your edge using a Diamond Guide & 200 grit disc right under the binding section of your ski can increase your confidence on hard, super icy surfaces. Test it out to see if it works for you.

Valuable Tuning Tip # 16 - Diamond Stones worn out? Do this!

In Valuable Tuning Tip # 16 we show you the correct way to replace the worn out diamond on your Diamond Stones. All Sidecut Diamond backing plates are CNC machined and should last a lifetime. Simply peel off the old diamond strips, replace and you have a new stone without the expense & waste. Click the link in the bio to watch more tips.

Valuable Tuning Tip # 17 - Detuning your Tip & Tails for Better Turns

In Valuable Tuning Tip # 17 we demonstrate what we call "AVS detuning". This anti-vibrational style of detuning prevents chatter from the skis which can be caused from excessive ‘rounding’ of the edges at the tips and tails when a gummy is used right on the apex of the edge.

Try this method of detuning to increase your confidence on harder snow surfaces and improve your turns. Tools needed: Tyrolit fine Ceramic and/or Tyrolit Elastic Race+ stone(s). You can also use a 1000 grit Sidecut Diamond Stone.

Valuable Tuning Tip # 18 - Changing the Bevel on your Pro Base Bevel Guide

In Valuable Tuning Tip # 18 we teach you how to change the ‘glide plate’ on our Pro Base Bevel Guide to your desired bevel of 0.5, 0.7, 1.0 or 1.5 degrees. This means with only one Pro BBG you can easily switch to different degrees. Click the link on the reel to take you to the product. *Extra Glide Plates are sold individually.*

Valuable Tuning Tip # 19 - Smooth sidewalls = Free Speed!!

In Valuable Tuning Tip # 19 we demonstrate how you can turn average sidewalls into ultra smooth & fast sidewalls giving you what we call "FREE SPEED". Easy to do. Rewarding results.

Valuable Tuning Tip # 20 - Adjusting the 'D-glides' on your Pro Base Bevel Guide

In Valuable Tuning Tip # 20 we demonstrate how you adjust the "Delrin glides" on your Pro Base Bevel Guide when they wear. We’ve designed the glides to be rotated 4 times so they last a very long time before replacement is needed.
